We are currently recruiting for an experienced Capstan Lathe Setter to join our clients busy team on a permanent basis.
Our client manufactures quality products in a variety of stainless, carbon & nickel alloys.
Previous experience operating manual Capstan Lathes is essential.
Skills required:- The ability to monitor the running of machines, ensuring they are loaded/unloaded with minimal down time
- Capstan and manual lathe setting & operating
- Working to tight tolerances ensuring quality standards are met using vernier & micrometer gauges
- Able to read engineering machining drawings
This role may also involve performing other day to day duties as part of the team including grinding, thread rolling and packing.
Working hours:- Monday to Friday 07:30-16:00 (30 minute lunch break)
An immediate start is available for the successful candidate.
